On Sunday, June 4th Lama Rangbar will be offering Buddhist Refuge to those who wish it. This is being offered due to several requests from the community.
The ceremony starts at 9:30 AM at the Academy of Mantric Disciplines in Poughquag, NY and will end by noon. Those wishing to attend should bring one or two flowers of any type or color not owned by someone else. Some of you may wish to offer a Khata (silk scarf) and if you do not have one, they are available for purchase at the center.
The refuge ceremony is open to anyone wishing Buddhist refuge and there is no charge for the ceremony.
Children are welcome to attend.
Today also marks the 10th day (Guru Rinpoche's day) of the lunar calendar when the male energy of skillful means is most prevalent. There is a strong possibility there will be a tsok offering ceremony in the afternoon.
