Vajrasattva Practice and Guru Rinpoche Tsok

  • Academy of Mantric Disciplines 119 Roosevelt Drive Poughquag, NY, 12570 United States (map)

Dear Bodhivastu sangha and friends,

This Saturday November 21st is again Guru Rinpoche's day.
Although we normally perform a Guru Rinpoche Tsok on this day, Lama Rangbar feels that it will be good to perform a Dorje Sempa Lama practice (Vajrasattva) on this day with a short Tsok.  One of the reasons is that due to the heightened turbulence occurring these days, it is important for us to reflect and recognize our own faults and purify all sins and obscuration.   This benefits not only ourselves but all beings caught in the boiling cauldron of ignorance.  Lama will also give a short teaching on this meditation and how to use it for purifying the spiritual pollution of our modern world.
Vajrasattva practice is an expeditious way to purify our mind streams from pollution.
Practice will start in the morning at 10:00 AM with some explanations and go through a pot luck lunch and end at 5:00 PM at The Academy of Mantric Discipline in Poughquag, NY.   We will also have a brief Q and A session concerning the Stupa of The Great Awakening project at 5:00PM for those interested.
