Annual Mariamma Celebration and Prosperity Puja

This November 17th (Guru Rinpoche day) we will be having our closing-winter event at our Big Indian center with a sang and Mariamma puja for prosperity for all. We will perform a riwo sang chod purifying offering followed by Mariamma Ritrod Lomma Gyonma Tara offering ceremony. After this, the group will go into the woods to place several Kashyapa Buddha Relic stupas across the landscape of the Big Indian retreat sanctuary to bless the entire area.

There is a list of ingredients needed and people can either reply by email saying what you'll bring or if you wish to donate for the puja online please use the link below.

2 Fresh coconut with milk inside
Cookies
Sweets and candies
Fruits and berries
Nuts
Rock sugar
Limes
Milk
Yogurt
Tsok items of all kinds
The usual sang ingredients
Lots of fresh juniper or cedar greens needed!

The puja set up will start at 9:30 so please try to be on time to help set up. We should complete puja by 1:00 PM. Please bring some pot luck snacks for lunch.
